Privacy Policy

The NZ Lithium app lets you monitor your NZ Lithium battery from your phone over Bluetooth. We built it to be simple and private.

 

The short version: We don't collect your personal information. The app talks to your battery over Bluetooth and shows you the data on your phone. That's it.

 

Bluetooth: The app uses Bluetooth to find and connect to your NZ Lithium battery (and compatible Victron devices) and read their live data. This happens directly between your phone and the device.

What's stored: Your settings and preferences — like your battery's name and app options — are saved only on your phone. Nothing is uploaded to us or anyone else.

 

What we collect: Nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising. We don't see your battery data, your location, or how you use the app.

 

Bug reports: If you choose to send a bug report from the app, it opens your email app with a pre-filled message — basic device info (phone model, OS version) plus anything you write — addressed to us at sales@nzlithium.co.nz. This only happens if you tap send; nothing is collected automatically.

 

Third parties: The app doesn't share data with third parties, and doesn't use third-party analytics or advertising services.

 

Changes: If we update this policy, we'll post the new version on this page.
